Second Annual Foothills Youth Drama Festival!

Goodger-Pink Family Theatre is pleased to present our Second Annual Youth Drama Festival! Our youth drama festival was such a success last year that we are expanding and opening registration early, to allow everyone enough time to plan and prepare. As well as our short play and monologue categories, we will also be accepting submissions for performances of scenes as well as a playwright category. The festival will be held on April 4th, 2020 at The Rotary Performing Arts Centre in Okotoks for anyone 18 years of age or younger. Schools, extra-curricular or private class groups, individuals, etc are all welcome to submit.
 
Registration Requirements:

  • All registrations must be submitted no later than March 4, 2020 with a completed registration form and the non-refundable registration fee.  A link to the registration form can be found at the bottom of this page. Email the registration form to contact@gptheatre.com
  • A copy of the script must be sent by March 4, 2020. Original scripts are welcome, but must be sent in by the deadline for approval. Send to contact@gptheatre.com
  • Make cheques payable to Goodger-Pink Society. E-transfer to contact@gptheatre.com
  • Performances must be no longer than 20 minutes.
  • Sets, props and technical requirements must be minimal.
  • Each performance must be set up in 5 minutes and struck in 5 minutes.
  • All performers must be 18 years of age of younger
 
There will be different age and type of performance categories, and a variety of awards will be given out for each category.

at the Rotary Perfoming Arts Centre (3 Elma Street, East, Okotoks).
Starts Monday Sept 16, 2019 .
 
Number of performances for this festival is limited. Registration will close when all slots are filled or by March 4, 2020.
